Surprise Space
The mycelial network of the Exo-Forest
Hello to you, little Spore,
Here, the Symbiose organizers have no power (and above all, no visibility over what germinates beneath their feet!).
The idea of this secret space is to invite you to root yourself into the festival and make a surprise bloom, together or alone. For that, we've cultivated 4 mycelial filaments on Discord:
⚠️ A little note before weaving your filaments: The buttons to join these channels won't work until you've joined the main Symbiose Discord server. Once connected to the canopy, these underground passages will open up to you!
A little reminder: this year's theme is "Exo-Forest" — feel free to draw inspiration from it if you wish!
How does it work?
By clicking one of these buttons, you'll access the corresponding Discord channel. Only those who click will have access! From there, you'll be able to germinate freely beneath the roots of the organization and imagine a surprise that makes you vibrate.
There is absolutely no obligation. You can very well enter, take a look out of pure curiosity, and leave. The main thing is to enjoy yourself!
Need nutrients for your project?
If your project needs specific materials, a particular time slot, or any other resource, you can contact the programming team right here: Programming team
(Share only the bare minimum of information to keep the surprise 🤫)
⚠️ This link is only accessible once you've joined the main Symbiose Discord server.
Happy germinating!
To break the ice...
If you've joined a filament but feel a little lost, here's a little script to get you started:
- "Hi! Quick intro: my name is [Name] and..."
- "I have a brilliant / totally absurd idea! It would be to..."
- "I don't have a precise idea, but I'm curious and can lend my energy if a project speaks to me!"
- "I'm too lazy to create something, but it was stronger than me, I had to see what germinates here 👀"
